Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native who was born in low standards on September 16th in 1958. Her mother was teacher at a local school and was an unremarkable actor, and her father sold cars. Jennifer was the second child of her parents and often accompanied her mother who worked as a schoolteacher, to theater performances. She found her very remarkable. After Jennifer was five years old the divorce of her parents took place. Jennifer spent the bulk of her childhood living in British Columbia, after her mother relocated there with their four kids. Jennifer wasn't a student however, as a child she was very artistic. Due to her experiences at Canada's public schools Jennifer became the object of a lot of bullying. In high school her passion for theatre began to fade. In order to combat her loss of interest, her mother encouraged to take part as an extra in a variety of plays. Her children were all encouraged to become passionate about the arts. After that, she immediately started to act.
