Nathalie Emmanuel, a British actress best known for the part as Missandei (HBO's fantasy series Game of Thrones) from the year 2011 until 2019 She was also an British actress. Emmanuel was born and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's famous seaside town She has always been interested in acting. Nathalie was taking singing, acting, and dance lessons at when she was just 3. Parents were instantly delighted. Emmanuel was quickly developing as a actor, and by the end of her 90s, she had portrayed the character of Nala on stage in her role in the West End production of the critically acclaimed show "The Lion King." When she turned a teenager, Emmanuel began auditioning for parts in television and movies. In 2007, she landed her first major role when she appeared as Sasha Valentine in the British soap opera Hollyoaks (Channel 4 from 1995 to). Emmanuel played the character for four seasons before leaving the series in 2010. Emmanuel got her next break just three years later after she was signed in the role of Missandei on the HBO show Game of Thrones. She played the interpreter of Daenerys (played by Emilia Clarke).
